SFG shows off three new cards from the coming 2025 edition Gameplan Deck!

The shipping is insane unfortunately, but I think we need to start expecting that with the world being what it is these days.
Here is a breakdown of all three cards that were previewed as part of the preorder teaser:

Influence +1
A friendly model may immediately make a pass to another friendly model.
Models cannot generate MP, use Pass&Move, or make a Snap Shot as a result of this pass.
This is a super interesting card! Regardless of who wins initiative, this can change a whole situation completely. The fact that it also gives a bonus influence to allocate makes it basically always useful.
It’s also one of those cards where it can be very important to know the timing of when gameplan effects happen. It’s after you determine who goes first, but before any returning models jog back in or anyone allocates influence.
Thus, two thins are clear regarding this card – the opponent can react in some small way to how your pass goes, and also that you can’t pass to someone who hasn’t jogged back in yet.
Another exciting thing is that you most often will get a free Bonus Time (one extra dice) for the kick to make the pass, since it happens after initiative is determined but before MP is reset to zero. So if you had at least one point om Momentum you can Bonus Time with no drawback. It does require that you remember to declare it tho! 😉

All friendly models gain Goal of the Month.
(When this model makes a successful shot, it scores a Screamer if any double is rolled.)
You probably play this mainly to claim the initiative for the coming turn, but the effect is a nice little bonus if it ever comes up.
Scoring a Screamer means that you rolled two or more sixes when kicking for the shot on goal, and then you get an additional MP for scoring that goal (so 2 instead of 1 unless you have any other shenanigans). With this you get that bonus on any double dice result and not only on double sixes.

Up to two Squaddie models may make 2″ dodge towards the enemy goal post.
Nice versatile mid-level card. It’s one of those that I think you likely play for the effect rather than the initiative. Note that captains and mascots can’t be selected, and most importantly that it is not directly towards, so any point that is slightly closer to the opponent’s goal is a valid target for each dodge.
Note that with this card as well, models that were taken out hasn’t returned to the pitch yet so they can’t benefint from these dodges.

A while after the physical deck has been released there will be free digital options to get the cards just like normal, promised by SFG openly. But at this time there is only the physical one that you get partly to be first with brand new physical stuff for the game, and partly to support the game we love.
