The crossover miniatures are the first to be made available with separated bases, and as far as we know the intention is still to transition the whole POD range to having bases separate.
Orders with models that have separate bases will include standard black roundlipped circular bases (30/40/50 mm) that we need to attach our brand new POD miniatures to.
While there are benefits of getting the models playable straight out of the box, this is a good change that many have called for. And even though some prefer bases attached, it’s a very reasonable thing for miniatures games in general to require som light hobby’ing.
