Yay! It’s now been confirmed that the POD issues are leveling out and that the order backlog is in fact caught up with. This is wonderful news!
Several people spoke about communication in the SFG discord yesterday, which first led to the comments highlighted in yesterdays post here on The Bench, and then also to the short but official POD update below.
Guild Ball orders are now up-to-date, and the oldest order on the system is 11 working days.
All orders from April 30th and earlier are either shipping or complete.
15 working days + shipping is the current standard; 40 days for bulk orders.
We’re expecting to have a general update on replacement orders next week.
That is the week starting with 20th of May.
This is seriously such great news!
The backlog from the first wave is finished, and new orders have an estimated delivery at three weeks +shipping. While international shipping can be horrible sometimes, of course such things are out of the hands of the company sending it. Having an updated standard and confirmation of no backlog is really awesome.

That is because the Tracking Number for when your order is shipped isn’t always sent out to you even if it’s saved there with the order. Word is that is was a bug that was fixed, but keep an eye out still 🙂
The prospect of getting an official update on status for replacements (on orders with reported issues) is also really great. There are many people waiting on replacements for the hiccups we’ve seen. While I firmly believe that the vast majority of orders are good and that neg experiences just is mentioned more, an update on that whole part of the POD situation is also needed. The update here would be incomple without mentioning it, but now that we know it’s around the corner we can wait for it another few days 🙂
For me personally it draws closer and closer to the point where I’ll place an new order, partly for getting more minis I want but partly also just to check delivery time and overall how it’s handled. I was going to wait until the coming crossover minis release but I’m not sure I can keep my miniatures-trigger-finger in check 😉
