Hellooooo ballers. The date is set and the first teaser is out – the massively exciting 4.7 errata is just around the corner!
Well, not quite a specific date, but a set week, like last year. We’ve known for a long time that it was aimed at March 2025, but today we also got official confirmation that it will be released during next week. That means it will all be official sometime after monday 17th of march.
That also means all of you lucky people who are going to Adepticon will get the errata before that. So make sure you are prepared to use all the new stuff! It’ll be so awesome to see all the interactions with the updates.
To start the hype now during the last week before the release, the Inspiring Hat posted a wonderful errata-teaser with a few bullet points to get the speculation going. We know this errata will be a big one, but what will the errata actually give us?
- A model is gaining a trait that triggers whenever it dodges.
- A character play is being converted into a trait.
- A model is getting a character play previously only found in its Minor Guild.
- A previously Blacksmiths-only trait is added outside of Blacksmiths.
- A character play is getting buffed by removing a single word.
And another sneak peak from SFG today also revealed that the dark lord Obulus himself will be updated in the errata!
Lovely and scary at the same time.
On both discord and facebook the great international community has been throwing ideas around, and it’s really fun to follow and to join in the speculation.

- What kind of trait could be triggered by dodging, and whooo will get that? I don’t think I’ve seen any such ability before?
- There are several plays that could be converted into a trait, this is a curious one! Will it affect one or several models?
- What blacksmiths-only traits are there even to spread outside of their guild?
- What character plays has only been seen in a minor guild before? What play can this one be?
- Depending on how janky we’re allowing the speculations to get, there are many possible plays that can be buffed by removing a single word in it’s text. Maybe something with “another” changed to being able to include self as well, or “towards” changed to any direction?
All in all, while I personally would’ve wanted to kick off the spoiler-season way earlier for all of this awesomeness, I’m really glad that we’ve finally arrived at this point. <3
