This has been mentioned before, but today we got confirmation on some things about the coming errata.
We are all looking forward to when the new official update to player cards gets released, which is what all of us are referring to as “The Errata”. It will seal the lid on the revival of Guild Ball regardless of what it contains, but everyone’s still eager to see it.
The lead for the GBCP states that everything is still going great in terms of SFG+GBCP work on the errata, and clarifies that no models that haven’t already been part of a GBCP errata over the last few years, will be part of this new errata either.
“
We’re talking about the changes we made. Nothing new is in the books. No new models, that is.
If I’m being honest, we are having a blast. We just want to focus on all GBCP stuff first (errata 4.4 and 4.5, Lamps, Lumberjacks) and then we’ll most likely start thinking of “what’s next?”
From what I’ve seen, as well, we’ll be leaving the game in a healthier state after the errata than it is at the moment.

While the space for speculation shrinks a tiny bit, there are still a huge amount of players that might be touched by this errata then. Exciting to discuss on discord and facebook what changes we will see!

We’re also really eager to know more about the Lumberjacks. Will their release be part of the errata? It would seem as a missed opportunity for hype and spoilers and such, but hopefully it will be soon after the errata is finished.

Glad I got to play the Lamplighters in what will probably come to be known as “their broken period.” 🙂 I went 2-2 this weekend. I still messed up against engineers and was eaten by vBoar. Managed to squeeze a win past Scalpel and a newby using Smiths. I think the GB symbol on 2 results on Phosphor’s playbook is just a tad too generous. Move it to 3. Then he might have to bonus time to get it reliably.
