Hello ballers! The Bench constantly evolves, sometimes slowly sometimes quicker. Today I remade the menu and categories again, and I would really like to get feedback on this.
Added categories “Steamforge” and “POD” because it seems useful to be able to point at them specifically, when discussing what’s being done and if things are looking good and so on. For the continuous stream of people who have missed the revival thses can also be good places to start when backtracking for info. There is considerable overlap between these categories. But that goes for most posts on the Bench overall really, so that’s nothing new 🙂
Added category “Formats” that so far only includes the “Frontiers Cup” campaign league format. But this category will be filled with stuff over time, like overview of 3v3 play for beginners and the Homelands team cup and all other such things that find their way onto the Bench.
Also added a new “The Bench” category, that only includes posts where you see my own thoughts and writing.
The original idea for the Bench was to keep it super simple and rarely/never post my own opinions and thought on anything, just as a news and spotligt service. But as I’ve continued to build The Bench, it’s become apparent to me that it’s fun for me to add my own thoughts where I feel like it, so I will likely continue to do so 🙂
And thus, even though you cant filter me out hehe, now you can at least use this new category to look at my personal tiny contribution to “content” in the form of thoughts about current Guild Ball events.
Managing the Bench has become a hobby unto itself, parallell to the actual Guildballing. It’s really great fun to see the traffic statistics grow over time, and shift from day to day depending on how much I spread links around on social media and stuff like that.
Always feel free to direct people to here for info, and please also send me info and ideas if you think of something that’s not on here that could be interesting to others.
I’m easy to find on discord and on facebook, and I see comments posted here on The Bench almost instantly, those are very appreciated!
