First of all, link to the SFG blog post! Look at all those sweet and lovely updated cards.
It’s a huge errata by traditional standards, since they have been only 10 models or thereabouts for a long time – and now we’re getting a whooping 26 models! Even 27 if you count Soma/Pneuma twice 😉
So awesome!
I think this is just what the game needs to feel refreshed and revived. Adding in the coming Gameplan cards and later on the new Lumberjacks Guild, I mean the game was back even last year but NOW we’re talking! Even though both of those things are huge and very much anticipated by everyone, to me personally the news and changes in this errata is bigger than either.
Really, just lots of fun stuff to theorycraft around and play with!
Since the cards are already shown over at SFG, I will only include them here for convenience. I will however post several articles about all the the errata contents where I look closer at each card. I’ll drop them as soon as I finish writing them, today and in the next few days.
At the bottom here, I’ll also make a pass over the three guilds that didn’t get touched at all in this errata.

The Untouched
There are three guilds that weren’t touched by this errata.
- Cooks
- Navigators
- The Order
Even when counting crossover players, these three guilds are already deemed to be so finely balanced that they don’t need to be tuned any more at this time. They are all three minor guilds that are very good at what they do and how to do it, and all their models are more or less perfectly in line.
Of course, there’s always minor things that can be tweaked over longer periods of time. There’s nothing to say that these guild wont show up in another errata or Balance Update in coming years. But for now, if one of these three is your main guild and you’re disappointed that you didn’t get any spicy updates here today – just know that your guild was among the benchmark for awesome design balance, and that you’ll still have to speculate and play against all the news in the other guilds.
