The first two-day Guild Ball event in many years!
Lots of people hyped about it already! If I wasn’t living in the far end of the North I’d really really want to come, but at least I get to promote it here and watch all the hobby happiness from afar. This seems to be a “fly there and book a hotel because it’ll be worth it” kind of event.
I noticed that the place of the event Element Games is also on The Guild Ball Worldmap now! Well done to whoever pinned it! Keep the pins coming everyone 😉
Even though the event is not hosted under any SFG flag, there will be known faces there for sure, and fun to see these two SFG games together!

Sounds awesome! Warmanchester have the two best wargames out there (I’m biased, but hey) being run at the same event. Can’t be less than great.
Always felt like Warmachine and Guild Ball are similar enough so they could benefit from each other, and share overlapping community and synnergy in growing. Anyway, the fact that there will be Warmachine at the same time there as well, makes for a potentially really huge-feeling event, a place to meet good people in general.
I’ve generally avoided trying to track events here on The Bench since each separate event is relevant to so few people, internationally speaking (AND that Longshanks already does that so well) buuut I think this is a newsworthy thing in itself since it caters to more than just a local meta.
To anyone ever hosting a big GB event where you expect international attendance and/or interest, just lemme know and I’ll happily spread the word though here!
