The Tailors Guild is mentioned in the official Guild Ball lore, and back in 2018 and 2019 this fanmade version of the guild was made by Jordan Connolly.

These are really cool cards! And they look so well made.
Interesting designs for sure, and especially with a new type of marker.
I’m guessing that Tapestry Markers are removed when triggered, and that there is some limit as to how many can be on the pitch and so on, like with Traps and other marker types. Getting flexible and onesided fastgrounds all over the place looks really strong at first glance, but I think the cards are compensated for that.
Playtesting needed! π
Jordan wrote to me that he finalized this version 1.0 of them to be able to put the project away, but that “the concepts remain unrefined as my time with them came to and end before then” and I for one am hoping that we’ll get to see updates to them again at some point π
I put together a flavour blurb out of what I found from old conversations I had with Jordan back then.
Note that all of this is non-canon fanmade work.
“The Tailors occupy the rich district of the capital in Numasa. They have a shop there, originally a family run business owned by Sisero. He runs the business with his two daughters Weaver and Silk.
They import silks and dressware across the Free Cities. Shortly after the war, their trade became increasingly popular as cloth became a tradable commodity and tailoring a popular line of work. The Tailors have professionals in the craft travel from all around to work for them.
The popularity of the Tailors became a thorn in the side of the Blacksmiths, who by comparison are outcompeted by the Tailors due to the smiths work opportunities declining so much outside of war time.
Thus they have become bitter rivals.”
For physical models to play with, I know the designer started working on STL files way back, and also had oldschool paper dolls, but none of that are anywhere to be found ni the wild that I’ve seen.
A good tip is to have a look at Reaper Miniatures where a few different townspeople or similar might fit well enough.

As a bonus, here is a crossover Fisherman/Tailor character that Jordan made, and I think it was before the 3rd captains for the major guilds, so the name being very like Yukai can’t really be blamed π

That’s all for now, see you on the pitch ballers!
