This is a lot of fun, and it could be anything. Maybe the name of a model in the guild, or maybe a new kind of 30mm marker. Could also be a name for a guild rule or a token of some kind? Lots of speculation’s been flying around on Discord today for sure.
Gimmie all the ideas you’ve got!
Also, we were talking randomly about when they’ll actually be finished and released, and we got a hint that they’re soon putting the cards to playtesting. While this says nothing solid about how far away they are to being finished, it’s progress! Still holding to the “this year” comments from before.
Important to note here, that we don’t have any formal timetable on the Lumberjacks. We know that they’re very much being actively worked on, and that we’re getting a new deck of Game Plan cards, and that the next errata (which will be 4.7) is planned for March 2025 – But at the moment we don’t really have any more facts to be honest.

That there is also an interesting tidbit for sure. While nothing of this can be taken as facts, at least we can safely guess that there will be a guild-wide mechanic in the Lumberjacks. But what does it do? Is that the Logpiles?

If you made it all the way down here and still aren’t sure what the Lumberjacks are to Guild Ball, they are the next new official guild in line to be completed and released. They will be minor guild to the Masons Guild.
We’ve seen some stuff about the Lumberjacks before, but at this point we know they’re being heavily redesigned so to be honest we don’t know if anything we’ve seen about them before is going to remain with the official release of the guild.

What are Logpiles?
Will the aforementioned playdowns remain the same?
