It was confirmed last night that the errata being released next week will be numbered 4.6 and that the two erratas done by the GBCP (guildball community project) during the last years will “now be canonical parts of the game’s history”.
At first the working title for the new errata was 4.4 sonve the last of the official SFG erratas was the 4.3 version. But as the GBCP had numbered their erratas 4.4 and 4.5 it was felt by many that nothing else than 4.6 made sense. Not everyone agreed as always, but it appears that this side of the argument won out.
This is a great way for SFG to show respect for the people who worked hard and kept the game alive these last few years. That, and the genuine care for this game that we’ve seen on every turn since the revival-announcement. This shows class.
