Tadaa!
After much deliberation, some more playtesting, and greatly appreciated feedback from others, Cult Of 1s and GlassWalker80 have officially updated stuff on the previously seen creepy doctors with friends hehe. They also arrived at the plan to wait a little with publishing the next new models, since getting this update out and into playtesting hands (all of you!) feels more important.
The version number is meant to informally simulate catching up to the current errata 4.6 so when all 15 models are finally released and playtested and “finalized” they will all be 4.6 (or 4.7 if we get there before all the models are out).
So, first this, and then some new interesting stuff will come next week or so 😀
DISCLAIMER: This is a fan made project that is not affiliated with SFG or the GBCP.
The models below are captain “Cad” Caduceus, mascot Quack, and squaddies Triage, Apothecary, Leech and Syringe. These make up “the first team box” of The Anatomists Guild so to speak.
I also included the guild card with the Diagnosis condition rules, but that’s not been changed since last time you saw it.
Don’t hesitate to print the standees for playtesting and send feedback! Send either to Cult Of 1s or GlassWalker80 on discord or fb, or just send feedback to me and I’ll relay it for sure.
Any and all feedback appreciated!
Also if you have access to 3D printing, please download these STL files and print your own real Anatomists! The first models that are available for printing are Cad, Quack and Triage, with Leech next in line. Links to drive:

There, now we dive into the cards!

While the Diagnosis may seem strong, the guild is built and balanced around needing it. Read on!

Cad is still herself, but with some relevant changes, like her melee zone that was cropped down to 1″.
Also her Hippocratic Oath trait that she gives to her entire team, the wording no longer requires the affected enemy model to actually heal for the friendly model to get the dodge. That was never the intention, since Cad’s team isn’t supposed to damage anyone very much to begin with. But now it’s been corrected from it’s earlier wording.

Quack is still also very much alike what he looked like last time, but a relevant change is to “A Real Bastard” that any model with the Physician type can make him play ball and not only Leech.
Reminder: Almost all of the Anatomists are either Physician or Nurse as a subtype, similar to farmers or blacksmiths with different roles.

Still lots and lots going on with this fancy ballplayer. Some minor changes to wording and playbook here.

The big guy lost a lot of HP, but he is still kind and caring of his teammates. Having him be too durable like before would make the Team Player trait way too strong, but like this he feels good.
He also lost the special tokens he had, with the benefit of making his Scripts trait more streamlined and easy to use.
Do note on Scripts that it also changed from any “friendly model” to “squaddie” model, so that captains and mascots can’t be target of it. This is a balancing issue that still needs testing, but seemed better this way.

Now here we’re talking bigger changes! His evil side-eye reamins the same tough. The creepy ex-soldier turned vampi… *cough* physician hrrm, is still an interesting tech piece on the pitch, but with an updated set of tools.
– He lost his aoe healing legendary, but the mechanica third arm there that holds the bloodbags high, that still gives him Extended Reach (that was previously only on the old legendary).
– Also since the legendary was a nod to his new life as an undead, it was decided that the Life Drinker trait now just couldn’t be kept off of him anymore. He is still almost weak enough to die to a harsh word, so likely this trait will not be too strong on him, but surely relevant for the times when someone fails to take him out.
– The trait that makes Quack into a relevant ball threat became a heroic play.
– He retains Bound in Blood, which I still think is a really interesting play. Will be fun to hear what further playtesting has to say about it!
– His play that put out Bleed and some other things was removed since it contributed too little to the team’s goals. With a ballgame utility play like I’m Open he fits in better with the team and can hopefully get a better place and clearer role on the pitch. I’ll say it again; playtesting feedback appreciated!

Syringe is the equivalent of Greyscales in Fishermen. The oldest and wisest among them, but will not be captain.
She isn’t changed much here, but her INF stat dropped from 2/4 to 2/3 and her character plays got some quality changes in wording that didn’t change their use or effectiveness.
Sooo that’s it for this major update post. Do please print everything and bring it to the table!
And keep a lookout for what comes next 😉
